Went to Bristol for the weekend. Had a fabulous time! Went to the zoo, the harbour, lots of little quirky pubs etc..... but seems I was a tad overzealous when packing to come home and have 'taken' a few items from the room. Such as - all the toiletries, a while flannel, a toilet roll(??), a ceramic soap dish, a very nice beer glass, a note book and pen, a bottle opener, and a hand towel! I have been very bad indeed - I am blaming all the vodka and cokes I had !

Was that a hotel room?
I bet the hotel can't wait for you to come back for another stay.
haven't read any reports of any animals missing from bristol zoo ...

It was, and yes I know I've technically 'stolen ' it all. Seriously don't remember doing it tho! My guilt is slightly eased by the fact the the food they served up and charged appallingly high prices for was indeed absolutely vile.
did you check the roof of your car (carshare zoo trip )lol x
You won't be re-booking into that hotel then ;) I do hope they don't have your card details, they might charge them haha (Joking ;) )
Not the souvenirs you expected to bring home I guess ha
Question Author
Yes no monkeys on the roof! Bristol zoo is actually lovely - apart from the sheer chaos in the cafe! Never seen anything like it. And if the hotel was closer I'd take all the stuff back!
Alcohol or not....that was disgusting behaviour.
Toiletries ..fine.
Notebook and pen.....probably fine.
Flannel, toilet roll ceramic soap dish,...beer glass......etc..disgusting.
How dare you inform AB about this...I wouldn't have the b@l,ls.
Why would you want some manky old flannel that has been around someone else's nether regions? I know it's been washed but still..
...and you're blaming alcohol for being a kleptomaniac!
Question Author
Oh blimey, I've said I didn't deliberately bring them home - I don't even want them! Just found out that hubby packed the flannel(unused) as he thought it was ours.
in vino veritas
wasn't the porter suspicious when he saw you dragging your case through reception?
OK! OK........so you were drunk and didn't know what you were doing ..i can understand (just).
But why....why...broadcast it on AB?
A lot of folk do it (take from hotel rooms, not tell ha)

Ooops, you're a naughty girl Smow.

When are you visiting Oz?

;-/
Because these luxuries are not included in the price!

Smow paid for it!!
Sorry ummmm you have lost me there....^^^^
She sure did :) it's funny to think you nick them though, my guest room has little souvenirs from hotels, no alcohol involved, I paid for them as good as if I had used them while there.
My sisters manage hotels and often these flannels get used by the staff when cleaning a room to wash the bath/shower etc., they get dumped them, don't feel bad, just laugh at it and remember, the meal was not that great
