...West End Magic performed by Northampton College Performing Arts Students....

My granddaughter is a performing arts student and is off to stage school shortly. I have no idea at all where she gets her theatrical talent from...... ;-)

She was brilliant of course.....beautiful voice and can she dance and act!...but......seriously.... the talent on show tonight was magnificent......so many young people giving their all in tonight's performance....

One of my favourite musical parts ever is The Engineer in Miss Saigon......I have seen this performed so many times and it can be breathtaking......
The young lad tonight was up there with the best....don't think I should name him but I have the programme and I know I will see his name in lights in the West End....

I have had the most wonderful night.....and Northampton College Performing arts students are to be applauded....

My bliss overflows......xxx

Caran.....I can't sing a note.....I Irish dance but I can't throw my leg as high as these girls were doing tonight.....I'd be in traction....

But theatrical?....mmmmm...maybe you're right.....☺

How is Mr Caran?.....x
>>> I have no idea at all where she gets her theatrical talent from

Well she'd probably need to be related to someone who's an almost totally uninhibited extrovert, with a flair for doing unusual things in public. Now, just who does that bring to mind?

;-)

Hmmmm......do you know, Chris....I haven't a clue......

She has two grandmas....one is a dull and boring woman....the other a refined, calm shrinking violet.....so I'm puzzled...... ;-)
How wonderful for you! So pleased! Last year we encouraged local lad Tyler to give a concert for charity - he was more than willing and we raised over £1K - he has been on 'Let it Shine' and won through. Lovely boy. Mum runs a local caff. and he's a mate of my greengrocer's son. It can happen; if we do nothing else we can at least encourage youthful hopes and energy. I hope Tyler will make it big (not least because I bought one of his home-made CDs to fund and encourage him!). I equally hope that your granddaughter finds the staying-power for success (she is obviously talented - my tiniest granddaughter is already composing and singing her own songs - she's 5!) Fingers firmly crossed for both. :)
Hi gness, he is much improved. The swelling in his eye has gone down, still putting multiple lots of drops in. Surgeon thinks he may not need second cataract doing as it is border line. He has had to take the lens out of his glasses due to much improvement in his sight after the op. We were at the hospital yesterday and need to go again next week. Thanks for asking.
OK - So you are the 3rd grandma. We'll work it out in time. x
That sounds amazing, no wonder you enjoyed it. Well done to all the students.

Glad he's improved, Caran....when MrG had his done it change the way he saw colour.....he agreed that I had been right all along about the colours I chose for decorating.....on reflection he could just have been humouring me.....☺

J....you're a cheeky lady!!!!!

Marval....in truth I was as proud of all the students as I was of my granddaughter.....brought a tear to my eye watching just what they put into each performance....we moan about youth sometimes....but we have some wonderful kids out there......x
Question Author
It was, Mamya....every kid from a different background...different talents and abilities......but doing their very best and loving it....bliss indeed...x
You must be so proud gness. I bet the hairs on the back of your neck stood on end with the beautiful singing..
My daughter was in a few plays at school and layer at college, where she studied performing arts. She was very talented, got as far as an audition at RADA but alas didn't get picked. She's married with young child now. I always felt sorry she didn't perdue her talent. Still,.. Glad you had an enjoyable evening!

We have amazing kids out there Gness. We just need to let them shine. Glad your Blissness is full to bursting xx

Patsy.....I have the most talented friend who didn't go as far as she should have...just like your daughter.

She eventually became involved in amdram and had a wonderful time....still is in her seventies....not the same but still the opportunity to showcase the talent.....and for some being on a stage is fantastic......maybe your daughter will do something like that eventually.....and get enjoyment from that.....Gx
