Just enjoyed an ITV programme on the life of Kenny Everett.
The only DJ imo opinion who had great talent, played great records and had my sense of humour (irreverant and wacky). That man always made me laugh out loud and I am off to bed shortly with a sore stomach through laughter.
How I miss his shows. Wish they would let us enjoy repeats but I guess the PC Stasi wouldn't agree. :-(

too edgy for my liking, thought he was just silly....Freddie Star in his time was very funny...

^He was far too much of a maverick for the staid and stuffy Establishment,
emperor Roscoe was my fave DJ in the Caroline days..met him out with his wife not long before he passed, alas in a wheelchair and unable to speak, but his wife said he was thrilled when I recognised them in a London park and stopped to chat with him...
