R.I.P. indeed. I always enjoyed watching him.
Sad news, RIP.
Versatile and accomplished actor - RIP Anthony.
I remember him in Callan with the late Edward Woodward.
R.I.P. Anthony.
Superb in Colditz

R I P Anthony

Simon Barlow will be upset :(
Very sad. I always liked him in Callan, as the suave, superior Meres, but when it came to a fight between them, he actually was superior!

I always remember being deeply jealous of him when I found out he had dated Alexandra Bastedo - by far the most beautiful woman ever to appear on British television.
That's sad news, I liked watching programmes he was in.
hc4361 why will Simon Barlow be upset? x
He played Simon's wealthy Granddad in Corrie.
Loved him in "Minder" when he played Maurice "Morry" Michaelson, a professional gambler.

Excellent in Colditz as Major Mohn.

very sad he always made everything he did worth watching. R.I.P.
I thought Anthony Valentine was great in the TV Series Raffles.

Shame he didn't let me know he and Alexandra Bastedo had split up. She was a truly beautiful woman and I'd have been knocking at her door like a shot!
R. I. P. Anthony Valentine, always enjoyed watching you.
RIP Anthony Valentine. I remember him well from when he used to be in 'Colditz'.
