I he's had a couple of meetings with the bank to get a loan to buy another garage.
Didn't he win some money on a scratch card some time ago? (he gave some to Sally)
Just watched the beginning and Sally said he had got a bank loan.
Kevin won £200,000 on a scratch card some years ago...
If he had to go to the bank for a Ioan to buy another garage how is he going to manage to 1end some to SaIIy?
This is 'soap' land, nothing makes sense when compared with reality.
The money he won on the scratchcard years ago was stolen by Ken's grandson, fraudulent bank withdrawal.
Didn't he get a lot of money when he sued a Sunday Newspaper
Who buys a business when you don't know the sale price and the books haven't been audited. As you say its soap land. But I still love Corrie!
we just love sally's comedy scenes,
Steve still doesn't know that Carla owns half the pub

Also no-one ever asks what the salary is before accepting a job in Underworld, The Bistro, The Rovers etc
Robert t'chef for t'Bistro was told "to return for work tomorrow and he'll learn his pay and hours".

I also love that in soaps no-one ever has to travel to work, it's always across the road and how many people can be supported by fairly small businesses, like the toffee factory in Emmerdale. Why do so many people eat breakfast or buy coffee in cafes across the street from their own houses?
Soap would be very dull if it were realistic.

What The Funicular was the break-in scene all about?

Less Dennis was just missing the comedy burglar mask and swag bag...pathetic!
If everybody ate and drank in their own homes Zeno, they would rarely come together for dialogue between the characters to take place.
Bloomin 'eck. I typed zebo, twice!!!!!!!!
Talbot: The break-in scene was for the NotDiedrie's bracelet!
Have I missed something? How does Carla own half the pub?
