Just been watching Rock 'N' Roll America on BBC4.
Really took me back in time. Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Pat Boone, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochrane, Everlies, Buddy Holly, and many more. It was really good.
Repeated at midnight.
There's also a Chuck Berry concert repeated at 2.00 am.
Also Elvis: That alright Mama. At 11.00.
Caran, according to the history of the American Bandstand, they were all teenagers. I guess we have to keep in mind that in the mid '50s to early '60s American teenagers would have appeared to be more well developed (therefore older) than British teenagers since the Americans didn't have to endure the harsh rationing during the war, and after, that the British did. Just a thought.
