Perhaps it could be said so, taking into account that the programme is being televised from Finchley, which has the largest Jewish community of any parliamentary constituency.

But surely hate him or loathe him, as a Member of Parliament he has the same rights as any other to appear on the show.

I would agree AOG. As a publicly funded broadcaster, the BBC has an obligation to avoid political bias, and to ensure that all sides of political debate are represented.

Avoiding individuals because they hold contentious views is tantamount to political censorship, and cannot be tolerated in a free society.

Apart from anything else, the BBC has to be mindful of ratings as Charter renewal approaches, and Gorgeous George is always guaranteed to produce lively television, and attendant strong viewing figures.
Like him or loath him, I like it when hes on QT, makes it more entertaining.
nobody has a "right" to appear on the show; he has an equal right to be invited, I would have thought. Whether his principles will allow him to enter the non-Israel-free zone of Finchley, who can say?
I agree with AOG in his liberal phase

if someone has something to say, we should allow him to say it even tho we may disagree.....

Gorgeous George flew to the Land of the Free at one point and gave a firebrand speech on the usual subject. Everyone refused to carry the speech and in the end the president of the short hand writers transcribed it and published it saying he felt it was his duty to do so
incredible.....

[ and honestly if you listen to what Gorgeous George is saying, most of it is boll+cks ]

So far the BBC have only announced two other panellist on the show, those being, Tristram Hunt, and Janet Street-Porter.

It would be interesting to know who is to join them, but whoever they are it should make enjoyable viewing.
In the interest of balance they should also invite Neil Masterson:

What a day release from prison so as to appear on the show?
Oh Christ, that dreadful woman. I might have watched it without JSP - with her, absolutely no way. She's worse than Gorgeous for talking out bol-locks.
yes AOG good idea, perhaps they could have a boxing ring installed in the studio.
Are the BBC allowed to bring panelists from jail to appear on Question Time,TTT?
may struggle this time SirO, perhaps next time GG is on eh? Or what if they held and episode in the jail? just a thought!
I don't care what anyone says I like listening to George, he certainly makes things more interesting.
His presence will have a relevance to current events.

Eh that would be interesting, but what about a live TV AnswerBank?

Now that would be very interesting.

On the panel this week, AOG, Gromit, TTT, JTH and Mikey, who do you suggest for chairman (or is that chairperson?)

What about me AOG?

You and I can 'out-Galloway' Galloway on a bad day!!!!
No one battered an eyelid when the dreadful jewess, Melanie Phillips was invited onto the panel for the show from Bradford.

How is this any different?
steady gromit, the anti jew is comming through....
Tristram Hunt is a prominent member of Labour Friends of Israel.
GG is a well known anti British apologist for terror not comparable to Melanie Phillips.
Looks like Galloway will be outnumbered.

The Conservative representative on the panel, Nicky Morgan, is a member of Conservative Friends of Israel.
