War Horse ios on BBC1 tonight at 8pm. I haven't seen it, but am assured that it is an entire box of tissues film!

I think that it will be, Anne - I really wanted to go and see the stage play, but never got round to it, so the film will suffice.
Yep, not to be missed.
I couldn't bear to watch it. If men wish to slaughter one another let them get on with it, but bringing animals to suffer their madness is inexcusable.
I'm recording War Horse tonight. I'm not convinced it's my type of film, but my friends keep telling me it is.
I was scared to watch it for a long time because everyone said it was so sad and I just can't bear sad animal stuff. If I'm honest I was quite disappointed when I finally did, It was much more disneyesque than I expected. Watch it though, it has some nice moments and you need to form your own opinion. I didn't cry once and that's abnormal for me.
Well I saw the stage version
All I'll say is I'll never get those two and a half hours back
Ric.ror; //I'll never get those two and a half hours back// How do you mean, is that a good or bad verdict?
I am about to sit down to watch it - whole roll of loo-roll to hand.
well if you think it is a crap movie, then you are well set with the loo roll!

Watched the first 15 minutes, attention wavering a bit by then, now got to 20 minutes and realise boredom has set in, nothing of interest so far, am off to find some music on the Radio!
I enjoyed the stage play for its technical acheivements. But being a children's book the story is as predictable as they come and this film reminds me of wintery Sunday afternoons as a 10 year old. Curled up on the sofa watching sentimental movies with my Dad. Even the music is reminiscent of Lassy Come Home!
Saw it. Didn't use a single tissue !
No me neither OG, just a well made kids film with a slightly ridiculous story.
I daren't watch it either, heard it is so sad.
I forgot to watch it. I'm sure it'll be repeated though and I'll watch it then.
watched 30 mins............. boring,
