Please correct me if i'm wrong but in the special donation episode they test whether the bloke is brain stem dead by turning off the machine for 10 minutes to see whether his chest would move, showing his brain still sent signals to his lungs. I am not a doctor but surely after 10 minutes of his body being starved of oxygen his organs would be useless?
