Just about to watch it on Iplayer (can't miss Game of Thrones' on Mondays!) Have heard good things about it-but don't stop the other foreign stuff please-can manage with them all.
I was better than Shetland. One bit that did not make sense was near the end when the killer had abandoned her car near the hotel/children's home and went to the chapel on foot. The detective drove like mad to reach the same place at almost the same time.
9/10 though I had been expecting a 4 part series rather than single episodes-feel there is more to be revealed about DCI Mathias and possibly the Chief Super and rather creepy doctor. Good atmosphere, bleak but sweeping scenery. Brought to mind another of my favourites-the excellent A Mind to Kill with the late Philip Madoc as DCI Noel Bain also set in Wales.
I watched it last night after reading this thread, I wasn't going to bother as I've still got a whole series of Mammon to get through and haven't got the concentration span at the moment to deal with subtitles, glad I did as it was excellent and I was really pleased that the subtitles were not too overbearing.
