Hinterland

Have been binge watching (and loving) Hinterland which was filmed in Wales. Could have cried when I came to the end of Series 3 to discover that Series 4 had been postponed during lockdown. Not sure when (if ever) it will be filmed. Series 3 left on a real cliffhanger too!

I think the bleak North Wales landscape lends itself to that "scandi-noir" feel. Apparently they record two versions, one in Welsh, broadcast on S4C, and in English on BBC.

I've just finished watching Annika (I had recorded the series). Watchable, nice scenery and of course I am a big fan of Nicola Walker
