Yes, I liked it.
I really enjoyed it, I just wish it could be a complete episode each night

OH is watching it,
I couldn't get into it last week, didn't even try tonight, just went into the dining room with the radio!
Pretty underwhelming imo-not one I'm going to stay with.
i liked it, ans was truly surprised at the outcome, although t didn't really explain how he knew who it was
i really liked it, i did think it was the girl though, from the first part, i couldn't understand much of what Brian Cox was saying.
i had the subtitles on! Basically all he said in he first episode was that it wasn't his day for lerwick
he said a bit more in the second episode, but much went right by me
I tried to follow it this week with great difficulty as I simply couldn't remember what happened last week. I agree with emmie, a lot of it passed me by.
well i must admit when they were talking about the man she was sleeping with i didn't even remember him from last week!
I thought last week that the man she was sleeping with was the murderer, on the grounds that he was flashy and all the rest seemed down-to-earth, stereo-typing or what! Did she murder her because they both fancied the same man, it didn't seem clear, the sound seemed to match the landscape, something I also though during the Scandinavian who dunnits.

no, it was because the younger girl really liked the man and wanted a relationship with him, but the older girl was trying to expose him as a sleaze
Mrs Backdrifter and I watch it mainly because we have spent lots of time in Shetland and love it, so we enjoy spotting the various locations. But we find the programme itself a bit dull. I think they're hoping it will be a UK equivalent of the popular Scandinavian crime dramas. Well I suppose Shetland is the bit of the UK that's geographically closest to the Scandinavian nations.

The woman on Perez's team is amazingly annoying. Those facial expressions she pulls...
i didn't think it was actually filmed on shetland!
thought it was quite entertaining but could have been done in an hour!

Shetland is a BBC Scotland crime drama television series starring Douglas Henshall as Detective Inspector Jimmy Perez, the pilot episode of which aired on BBC One in 2013. The story takes place in Shetland, though most of the filming was done on the Scottish mainland.

The pilot was based on the novel Red Bones by Ann Cleeves.[2][3]

On April 3, 2013 it was announced that Shetland had been given a full six part series, which will air from 11 March 2014, with filming commencing summer 2013.[4] The six episodes will be split into three two-part stories based on Ann Cleeve's stories Raven Black, Dead Water and Blue Lightning.[4]
