Me too!!
The books are well worth a read, too
Lovely news. I really enjoyed the last series. Thanks for the update.
And I'm assured Bradley Walsh is not in it!
Excellent. Thank you for letting us know.

I keep looking out for the boxset on iPlayer, not there unfortunately. I'd definitely repeat binge watch them.
I saw something briefly on tv yesterday about a new programme by Ann Cleeves - The Long Call, a four parter featuring DI Matthew Venn who lives with his husband in north Devon, no release date for the tv series yet.
I'm hoping it will be as successful as Vera and Shetland,.

rocky, if you have Amazon Prime you can watch every series of Shetland with a free 7 day trial of Britbox (via Amazon Prime).

Or you can start the free trial without Amazon if you want to watch it on your PC - if you've got a smart tv you can 'cast' it
It's been a long wait, but sure it will be worth it. Great series. Met Ann Cleeves at a talk, lovely lady who explained that she set her books in places she had lived. At that time she was living on one of the Shetland Islands. Has she now moved to North Devon I wonder as her new series is set there??
She lives in Whitley Bay, maggie, but has spent time in Devon in the past
Thanks for the info goodgoalie.
Love Vera and Shetland but not so keen on Matthew Venn. Will watch it when it’s on though as I might change my mind. Good news about a new Shetland.
I seem to recall reading that they have made two new series over lockdown, something for the dark nights.
