Fresh Vegatables......

I love fresh veg every day. There are a few exceptions though.
I have tried to eat broccoli as I know it's good for you, but I hate it, so that's a no no.
I despise broad beans.
I once threw up on the carpet of a very distinguished royal after eating a creamed asparagus vol-au-vent.
What veg do you hate.

I love all veg but there are a few I haven't tried yet like celeriac.

I'll eat any veg apart from peas which I love but don't love me.
Can't stand beetroot though.

I like cabbage, as long as it's not over cooked and not SAVOY.
I think a lot of the probs with people not liking veg is over cooking. Over cooking makes it water logged. Not nice.

brussel sprouts - my mother used to boil them till mushy, then added vinegar !!
Still can't face them today [ 60 odd years later ]

I only eat the stems of broccoli.

I like most veg. OH only likes over cooked cabbage, it's a childhood thing.

My dad used to eat vegetable sandwiches :-)

I love most veg and will eat any that are put on my plate but swede, parsnip and turnip have to be mashed into carrots or potato.

There is some wonderful British Asparagus in the shops at the moment...can't recommend it highly enough ! With some melted butter and plenty of freshly ground black pepper !
