Who would you say causes pedestrian accidents with cars? Is it the driver or is it the Pedestrian?

An impossible question to answer as every incident is different.
What a strange question. I can think of instances of both.
Jaywalkers?
Drunks.
Well I got knocked over on a pedestrian crossing (green man was lit up) so it certainly wasn't my fault.
Were you drunk though?
both

the route i walk to work i have to go through a very busy retail park which had a traffic light controlled roundabout, i often nearly get killed by impatient drivers ignoring the red light

but saying that i have also seen plenty of pedestrians walk out in front of cars
why do you want to know?
No Snags...I have never been drunk!!
either,either - neither, neither.
ummmm fibs.
I was killed by the driver.
My condolences DT.
Mamy....shhhh....people might have believed me.

Seriously though, I was taking my son to school. He was knocked over as well, luckily he was on my right hand side.
well in police terms a pedestrian is always in collision with a vehicle, not a car in collision with a pedestrian, or so it seems when you read police statements, which I think means that the car was moving faster than the pedestrian and so is in the controling situation. ?
Pedestrian would be a simple answer.. but nob heads have being given a liescence to drive without due care and attention.

ermm think i'll change the track.

as a driver i've always being wary since some silly bitch tried to kill my bro at a red light crossing not paying attanetoin.
Can you seriously think there is an answer to your question, TWR?

Situation 1...A pedestrian runs out into the road right in front of a car travelling at the speed limit and is hit by the car.

Situation 3...A speeding car mounts the pavement and hits a pedestrian.

In the above two examples is it not obvious that a different person is responsible in each instance?
It does make you very wary. I never step out now until the cars have actually stopped.
What's situation 2?
That's a secret.... (I like to call the secret a typo)
