the brand new six-part series red dwarf 10 is due to air exclusively on Dave channel soon.

as a warm up to this anticipated event - Dave are showing the complete series 7 and 8 over this weekend - featuring, of course,my favourite character (pictured)

i have a very busy weekend .. in and out all the time - therefore i'll have to record the whole lot.

any more dwarfers out there looking forward to this?

I was never a fan of Red Dwarf, but I really love the theme song, so I hope they're going to keep it.

i've got them all on dvd, but such a long gap usually ends in disappointment e.g. Back To Earth was ok but not up to the previous standard

I don't think so, JJ. We can get all sorts of things like Gay Rabbit, but nothing remotely interesting like Dave

I'm a huge RD fan and have being waiting for this for well over a year since I heard it was going to be made.

I also have them all on DVD but when its on I watch them anyway.
Biggest disappointment was series seven when it simply explained the 'Out of time' cliffhanger form series Six.

Long time fan here too. Been following the progress of the new series via the Robert Llewellyn blogs, and am very much looking forward to it!

I was a tad disappointed with the last mini-series on Dave; Blade Runner is always worthy of a homage, but I personally did not think the juxtaposition of Corrie and Blade Runner worked too well :)
