I was in the garden and heard a cat meowing, my neighbour had heard it a couple of days before. It was somewhere under the lleylandii bushes at the end of our back gardens. I saw it's eyes and went to see what was wrong. It was a beautiful cream fluffy cat with green eyes, I lifted it up and its bottom half was completely flat.......... I mean pancake from sort-of...

I don't think I've said it...

Jesus fecking Christ has been said on a few occasions...
Probably today at some point for something trivial... I swear too much =s lol!
Never. It's American, isn't it ? I use much stronger British words than that.
I don't use that phrase either, effin hell I'm ashamed to say probably comes out daily (at work).
Not one of my expletives.
I don't think I've ever said that either.......................
I don't use that phrase either. I would probably say the same as Prudie but I can't remember the last time I said it. I also swear way too much!

I was talking about swear words the other day with my mate and we were wondering why the 'C' word is so bad compared to other words??? Why?!
I don't swear out loud (because of the kids and from when I was working) I do swear in my head a lot.
I mean pancake from sort-of waist down completely...... including the long once-fluffy tail. But it was still alive obviously run over but no blood. Called the RSPA and stupidy asked if they could do anything to save it. It must have been there a week, and crawled a good way from a road to get to where I found it. Really upsetting to see that the lovely cat would die at last. That was my Holy Sh?t moment.
To answer Erin, I think it is because the C word consists of a single short vowel within three hard consonants that makes it sound so harsh. It was never always thus; it was a simple descriptive term in the Middle Ages. The ladies of the night used to ply their trade in Gropec**t Lane.

Ayg... :((
It's an odd one Mike.... As a Scot I don't find it as offensive as it's made out to be. You only have to watch Trainspotting to see how we use it! =s
ayg - tell me that it was sent to kittie heaven as soon as possible. That is such a horrible thought, if only .......
Wolf it was awful. I phoned the RSPcA straight away, we were all ready to go away for the weekend, so I told them they would have to get a move on. "Put it in a box so it won't run away" the man said. "Not much chance of it doing that" I said. Someone came in a van within the hour and took it away, said they'd put it to sleep when they got back. Poor lovely creature.
How long ago was that? That sight would haunt me for a long time.
I don't think I'll ever forget it, it must be about five years ago now.
