What a bunch of wazzocks!

I got a letter this morning saying my bank were unable to pay my last direct debit. There was sufficient funds in my account the day the DD was due, so I couldn't fathom what the problem was. I rang Admiral and, despite having given them my new account details on 02 July, they'd tried to debit the money from the now frozen joint account I had with big ears. After being on hold for what seemed like an eternity, they took my account details again and set up the DD. However, nothing was straightforward and everything had to go through another department - even the card payment for the last installment. What is the point in having a Customer Service Team that cannot actually do anything?

Oh, and if any of my AB friends were thinking of texting me, don't bother - I've lost my bloody phone!! :(

Also, all the calls I had to make to Admiral last month to reactivate my policy following my car accident and subsequent purchase of new car is what caused my mobile phone bill to nearly hit £400 last month!
Why do elephants have big ears?
Because Noddy wouldn't pay the ransom.
£400!?!?!

They have a geographical number of 029 2060 1294 which would probably be cheaper than the 08* numbers for them.
poor you nm I think if my phone bill was £400 I wouldnt want to find my phone either !
I put two phones in the washing machine in 2 weeks, Chief Stout read the riot act and said no more if the next one goes.
Hope you find it soon and dont have any more big bills and your direct debit is sorted, yes you r having a bad day.

They're based in Cardiff, I think. Is that a Cardiff number, Sir.P?
No - that is a London number - you ask for the department you want and then you will be diverted.
