im trying to muster up some energy to do things.

I've got as far as putting 2 lots of washing out and spraying the inside of my oven with "stuff" so far all morning.
I've decided not to do anything until the Olympics are over. I might stretch that to cover the Paralympics too.
Hi Wendilla, B00 and jno, the onset of summer has left us short of energy indeed. I would rather be lethargic as at the moment than cold wet and fed up though !!
I wish!!!
yup. day off.....up at 4am. grrr x

Where are you then Flump if it is cold where you are ?
Felt really energetic after my walk this morning so stripped the bed and put two lines of washing out. Great drying and had brought them all in bar one pair of trousers which I thought were a little damp. Next time I looked out of the window it was pouring!! Well dried up now, though, so hope rest of the day stays fine.
just home from two days away ... loaded the washing machine ... that is the extent of my chores' today - i intend to have a lazy afternoon and evening.
That certainly registers with me!
Lazy day today after yesterday, also conserving energy for Belgium tomorrow.
Hi Wendilla, I am on the Isle of Wight and I resemble that person in your original post ! My point was, I would rather be having heat induced lethargy than the depressing cold and rain we have had prior to this week. So while I am fair worn out ....long may it be that way !!
i'm doing loads but from the comfort of my sofa, i have to pace myself
I am going to do the worlds smallest amount of ironing and might go bonkers and hoover (but might save that for a cooler day).

Wonder if Boo has done her oven. Looks like Spotit3 has shown us all up. I have been busy doing nothing. Well I have my grandson here so that's my excuse.
Sometimes I like to sit and think. Other times I just like to sit. :-)
Just got the Hoover out and went to replace the filter (washed it yesterday), but it's not 100% dry so can't do the hovering today (shame).
I'm waiting for my daughter to arrive from Southampton by car. Apart from worrying about her, I'm about to cook a Spag Bol for our meal.

So excited!!!!!

Glad I am not the only one to find an excuse. Hope your daugher arrives safe.
I have a lovely image of Sherr hovering.
Mine is upstairs, if it can manage the stairs by itself I'll give it a practice run in the lounge.
I've had to nip to the local shop this morning (I can't believe I ran out of tonic!)
