The only name I was to be called was Tuesday, as after my mammy gave birth to me she said to my daddy "Let's call it a day dear ?"

During school years i had more nicknames than I can recall. None of which seemed to have a reason, they were just used by others and stuck.
i had a nickname at school.

i cannot say what it was because it was a derivitive of my surname, and i cannot reveal my surname on here.

Yes I did, it was given to me by my Godmother and it was, would you believe, Miss Prim!
My brother couldn't talk very well when I was born so rearranged my real first name and it stuck, I do like it so have kept it.

An uncle of mine, years ago, had a row with a member of the family and when my young cousin asked him what his name was he replied, "Oh my name's mud."
