I just watched 'Man on a Ledge' and they used the tried and tested movie cliche of clipping a still photo onto a security camera to fool the guards. Surely this would never work as the camera is focused 10 foot or more away and not 2 inches?!

What other movie cliches that just wouldnt work can you think of?

When Jennifer Aniston always looks so perfect.
Nobody ever has to look up a phone number and nobody ever says goodbye at the end of calls they just hang up.
when they are falling and they manage to catch themselves on 2inch ledge with just their finger tips...or by grabbing a pole with one hand - pretty much impossible...no-ones finger tips are that strong to stop their body weight at velocity... even a professional climber or gynmnast that uses the bars would struggle to do that!
there is alway only one person in the phone book with their name...and they always rip the page out ... thered be no pages left if everyone did that

there is no such dialling code as 555 - so they always use those numbers.

some things though - if they did them - would just make boring telly, and make the film twice as long - like looking up numbers etc
yes 555 is compulsory in all films and tv progs ...
