I know there are some strange and, quite frankly, absurd and downright wrong laws in this world.

What one law, in any country, would you change or abolish?

Erm... as far as I'm aware kids who have been abused and going through a criminal court case can't get counselling, or rahter they can but I think it can hurt the case. I'd probably try and see if there was a way around that.

I also don't think anyone who has been charged with a crime should be named and shamed unless there is definative proof that they did it. It destroys lives.

Boxy, I agree about human rights. There appears to be more laws to safeguard wrongdo-er than the victim.

The Human Rights Laws are fine as they are.

It is the judicial interpretation of them which throws up the contentious decisions time and again.

I keep changing my mind about which law I would alter or abolish.
