Pathetic and it ruins it, I am heading to the pub as a result.

they do the same at the Oscars and nobody thinks the ceremony's spoilt. These are non-competitive awards.

Far too much sport on TV.

Regarding the Sportsman of the Year awards, when they pre-announce it, they go completely over the top, this 'must be watched' type of thing.

They may go into raptures but I am afraid it doesn't do anything for me, and that includes the over expensive Olympics.
