Thinking of joining. However, it asks for my Email address AND password. Is this actually my email p/w and is it safe?

Thx

no, you can have any password you choose. it's not meant to be your email poassword.
*password, even
Whose asking you? If your responding to an email then it's a scam.
If you dont trust it then get a throw away email addy and a new password, I have an account with my e mail addy, no problems in 4 years
I wouldnt join via an email invite (there are a lot of scams about)

the password they are asking for is not your proper email password, it can be anything.
Run, go now, save yourself! Facebook will get you and suck you in and your time will never be your own! You will find enemies you didn't know you had and people will want to wish you happy birthday who you have never even met! You will be clicking on facebook before you even put the kettle on in the mornings or listened to the answerphone when you come home. Wish I had never joined but now I am one of the addicted.
My name is lankeela and I am a facebook addict.
I think there is a bit on the friend finder that may ask for your email password so it can search your contacts for other fb users. It's optional though - there'll be a skip button down the bottom.
If you are literally on the "join up" page, it's just asking you for your choice of password.
Im not a Facebook addict yet, however I have a billion people from all over the world that own Irish Wolfhounds in my friends list and I cant understand a word most of them say!

Who are they?
you need to register first before you enter your email address and facebook password.
