and did you see the police cleared the scene within 20 mins ?? normally they overdue it and shut the roads for half a day or more,also peter never asked for the police,and what was more silly in this poor episode was that Norris of all people never left the rovers to oggle at the scene,now that was bizarre
why wasnt anybody out on the street when the accident happened or heard the sirens, the chippy is close by and so are houses, and why didnt the allarm go off in the bookies when the car went in to it?
i thought that if an accident had taken place, teh police are automatically informed, you dont need to call them if youve requested an ambulance and said what happened

The best Brummie accent by far is Barry from Birmingham (Auf Wiedersehen, Pet) and Timothy Spall is from London.
I've lived in Birmingham most of my life but still cringe when I hear a very broad accent. I think fewer people speak like that nowadays, though, as with most accents.
