I love Corrie but last night was a disaster - so it was.

So unbelievable, I don't think Jim thought out the consequences, especially that disguise! So he was going to rob the building society, nip back to the Rovers, hand the money over, and Steve, Becky and the children were then going to flee the country and start a new life abroad, leaving him and Elizabeth in charge of the pub. Phew - Give me strength!.

Come on scriptwriters, get a grip. I suppose next, that due to the need to keep the prison population down, Jim will get a suspended sentence and serve a community service tending the flower beds in the Red Rec!

I haven't watched Eastenders since Arthur Fowler died, but perhaps I might be persuaded to start watching it again. No, on second thought perhaps not. I think that programme was sponsored by the government to make people think that no matter how bad they felt about things, there is always someone worse off than them, living in Albert Square!

I love Corrie but I thought last nights episode was truly DREADFUL.

I thought the "hold up" story line was pathetic, until I remembered three gunmen trying to rob a bank in Portslade in Sussex in 1989, all wearing balaclavas to hide their identity. The only problem was it happened to be the hottest day of the year and as soon as they walked into the bank the counterstaff dropped the security shield and pressed the panic button. They were caught in the high street almost immediately, so they were.

To be honest I shall be glad with both Liz and Jim have departed Corrie. Can't come soon enough.

I had to laugh though, all through the hold up, police etc, Steve just looked as spaced out as ever. I do like him, but what is he on!!!

I thought it was a pretty p!ss poor performance from the Corrie writers as well. I haven't watched it for few months but tuned in last night. Wish I hadn't now.

I agree with Lofty and others. Diabolical when a warning has to be given before Corrie! Pathetic story line, totally unrealistic. Still love it though ;0)

Yes I still enjoy it, despite all the things I don't like about it. Just find it relaxing and nice and familiar. It's the only soap I watch or will probably ever watch. I catch glimpses of the others sometimes but I don't know who anybody is any more.

I have seen the odd snippet of other soaps but nothing compares. My favourite is Roy, I just think he is a brilliant actor. Under-rated.

yes im glad to say it is in a different class....guess you lot would not be able to follow the story of tntrigue etc of Rome and would solely see it as mucky and apply stereotyped viewers likes..which is about par for soap fans.Do you still send birthday cards o them/...byeeeeeeeeeeeee
