The trouble with these far-fetched story-lines is that they often aren't that far-fetched..............I used to know someone who did just that !!!
JtH I hope you're not a gangsters moll. :-)
Ever since Eastenders appeared on our screens, other soaps like Corrie and
Emmerdale have tried to imitate it in a ratings battle war. Please soap writers lets
have some of the humour back.
i do jth, he worked out that, for the time he spent on the run and the time in prison, his earnings from the robbery ...............................28 per day.
No. :o)

We had an acquaintance who took up with this chap - he was always very evasive about what he actually did, despite moving in with her and 'leaving to go to work every morning'.......
He had spun a tale about awaiting an inheritance, etc. It wasn't until he got trapped in the bank he was holding-up at gun-point that we all found out 'exactly' what his profession was..............:D
Did he really think he could get away with it? And no 'get away car'!!
Catch yourself on! Been watching best part of 50 years but tonight was the last straw in them plumbing thedepths of stupidity and nastiness. Radio 3 for me now.
We all laughed so much when he put his cap on to disguise himself
He should have worn a burqa
Was I the only one slightly disappointed when he failed to blow his own head off with the shotgun?
Ive watched Corrie for years and this must be the worst script, story line and acting I have ever seen!
Catch yourself on now. He's going back to the Big House, so he is!

It does have its moments. Some of the one-liners in the past have been sublime. Of course, the old characters are missed; Hilda, Vera, Blanche et al.
Let's wait and see what Roys mum is like
As I have said on another thread, if Stephanie Cole is joining the cast it can only bode well.
Where have I seen Roys mum before and the copper in the CTV van outside the bank?
Roy's mum is Stephanie Cole, aka Auntie Joan in Doc Martin and Diana in Waiting for God, amongst many other brilliant performances.
