I dont watch this very often - however i watched an episode earlier where a lady ( spanish I think she was ) went all the way to open her box , even though she had a very good offer towards the end

Everyone in the studio by their reactions felt sorry for her - Why ?

Do you think that some people who appear on this show , are just too greedy ?

Sorry. When you said a lady went all the way to open her box I wondered what kind of programme you were watching!
I can't see the point of this programme, it's luck of the draw each time, there is no talent in it at all that I can see.
LOL ^!
How much was in her box Berti? I do think some of the contestants get greedy but some contestants that do be on sometimes deal on an amount that covers what they need

I cant remember exactly - but it was a low value blue .

She was offered around 17k near the end .

Apparently she is getting married soon - her fiance was in the audience - you could tell by the look on his face that the journey back home was likely to be a silent one
I don't like the programme, I cannot believe that everyone feels kindly towards the person who has been chosen to win. It's all the Americanisation, the huggy feelyness
that strikes me as being insincere.
17k is a great offer, she should of taken it!!
Only saw the last few minutes. She was left with £35.000 and either 10p or £10. She swopped her box and ended up with the lower amount. I do agree, I think some are very greedy and all they can see are the higher amounts
what would you spend seventeen thousand pounds on?
A holiday to Italy Cupid :)
From the look on her boyfriends face he knew exactly what it would have been spent on!! I would have a holiday and put the rest to a much needed new car
Suzey - she had either £35 grand or 10p - swapped box and went home with 10p!!! Shame! (she had been offered a deal of £10 grand and turned it down)...

' you could tell by the look on his face that the journey back home was likely to be a silent one '

Puntuated by - why the heck didn't you deal at 17k , my dearest :-)
The way I look at it is, you didn't have 17k before you went on the show so why would you turn your nose up at it when offered??
This program has been going for at least 5 years and has had just 2 quarter million winers n all that time!!!

About time this pure luck game was pensioned off
Agree puternut, their is no skill invoved, just a matter of guessing what is in the boxes,it bores me...
I would probably take the first offer. I haven't got any gambling instinct whatsoever. I think it's a dreadful show by the way. As someone else says all the hugs and touchy feelyness - dreadful and no skills involved.
Lottie do they make the audience dress in black?
I'm not with you poodi?
When ever i have caught glimpses of this show at work, the audience all seem to be wearing dark clothes
