Is it 2 years from when you separate or 2 years from when you apply to get divorced?

Really bad. I just cant do this anymore - its making me feel so tired and ill.

mine took a year, from start to finish but this was a few years ago so maybe things have changed?

oh Sal, I'm sorry..

I did my own divorce. we'd been separated for years, and the whole thing took about 4 months to complete.

don't forget that Christmas time can be really stressful.. don't do anything rash but give me a shout if you need anything x

If you and your partner are in agreement you could state the seperating date earlier to get a quicker date.
It puts me off marrying the 2 year thing. Too long!
Unless you have good grounds for a divorce you can get it quicker, with proof of course.
Try not to let it make you ill or stress it won't happen any quicker. Focuss on other things till you get it sorted.
Its only a date unless your religious and can't move on till the divorce. Then its hell.
Divorce is worse than someone dying for me. If someone dies you can still love them and think well of them. If you divorce you can't stand the person even go to hate. Some partners are so bitter. Can't treat you right but can't let you be free either.
