Have been trying to translate old will from 1813 and have come across the word 'mossuages' and wonder what it means. Can any one help please?

Are you sure it is not "messuage"? - that word normally means the a dwelling house, outbuildings, orchard and any land with it. If you put what context it is in, that may help.
Definitely a messuage. Old script can be difficult to read, and mistakes were common.
