Can a house be put up for sale before a will is finalised...............


My friends fathers house was left to his grandson and he has put it up for sale before the will is finalised.....is this legal in Scotland

In principle - yes it can be put up for sale, AFAIK.

However the actual sale cannot proceed until probate is granted.
