What steps can you take to defer the bailiff enforcing the Warrant after notice has been served on you for payment within 7 days and you cannot pay?

No need to take such a high handed attitude, I'm looking for help and advice not scolding
If the bailiffs come, assuming they haven't been previously and been allowed into the house, they cannot come in by force. They can only enter if you allow them in or they can get in through an unlocked door or window. They are not allowed to push past you at the door to force entry. So make sure all doors and windows are kept locked, and don't let them in. However, if you have a car which is not locked in a garage (or anything of value in the garden or an unlocked outhouse) they can take that - so keep your car some way away from the house.

None of this helps solve the debt problem. You need help from CAB, or CCCS or NationalDebtline.
could you please tell us what type of debt this is ie council tax, parking charge notice etc.
