i guess it depends if they're of a sexual nature or not. im sure most parents would have bath time photos of they're children.
Question Author
His pictures are not of his own children and he uses these pictures to masturbate
Hmmm, definately report him then.
I am sure many parents will thank you for preventing a 'would be' paedofile from entering thier childs lifes.
This guy needs stopping before he moves onto the real thing...
do you really need to ask???

report him!!!!! and do it straight away.
Without the full details it is difficult to say.
If it is their child or near relative, and its a very young child and its kept at their own home and only shown appropriately to other close family and friends, and they have far more pics of their relative with clothes on then it doesn't seem likely to be anything sinister.
If it is someone with pics of a child who is a stranger to them, then this would seem somewhat strange to say the least. I think you would need to say more about the context of the photo, the person and how you come to know this person has such photos, before being able to answer your question.
ruby, i hope you were already typing when kiya said the pics were masturbated over.
Nudity isn't sexual in itself, so if the girl is simply naked, but not in any sort of provocative pose, it probably wouldn't be thought of as porn, whatever other people choose to do with the photo.

It sounds as if this guy is a paedophile all the same. Maybe he has other, more degrading pictures. Or maybe he doesn't and is careful to stay within the law - in which case he shouldn't be reported; the police have enough to do catching actual lawbreakers without having to chase people who obey the law but have bad thoughts. If you don't know which is true I'd let it lie.
Given you second answer. Yes immediately

i know these things because i was involved with him. the photos were downloaded from the net. he has told me he wants to have my daughter before she gets to 16. he has photos of my girls fully clothed.
In law they are indecent photos of children, hence he is breaking the law.

As said, many parents have "innocent" photos of children re bathtime etc. However, even these photos can be class as child porn if the intention of the observer is to make them sexual. Of course there has to be a degree of nudity or meaning, hence photos of kids on a beach or playground, although disturbing if viewed as porn, there is no offence.

"Preteen", the actual law states that 18 (Eighteen) is the age of models in porn (the only exception being if married). So in the UK a man can legally have sex with a 16 year old but he may not sexually photograph her, unless married.

Report him. You can do it anonymously.
Hmmm, are you serious kiya?
Why do you need to ask peoples opinions on something like this if he has already said to you about your daughter?
Maybe your in shock, but as soon as you wake up to reality, get yourself on the phone to the police and they will advise you accordingly...
i really hope your question is a stupid joke, if not are you mad ?
Question Author
Not mad but the guy in question has only revealed the pictures in the last couple of days. I knew how he felt about my daughter and did not ever give him the chance to be alone with her. Thanks for your advice everyone. I am contacting the police now. However been as i am probably the only person who has seen these pics or that he has told about them ...... well i guess my windows are gonna be being put through lol......... o well i guess thats a price i will have to pay
Hmmm, isnt it a price worth paying for though kiya?
Question Author
it may be a price i am willing to pay ....... but think about my 4 children should they have to pay for my mistakes lol...... Well its done now so what the hell...........here goes nothing
glad to hear he's an ex, kiya. You could have reported him when he threatened your child (and it was a threat, though not made to her), but now will do. I wonder why he's showed you the photos?
Question Author
probably cuz he thought i was as sick as he is.
this nasty person needs reporting. u knew the answer before u asked really. if things were to escalate regarding this u wouldn't forgive urself for not blowing the whistle
It wont be as bad as you think Kiya. There are people who will support you through the process, and its not as scary as you think.
Once you have made the call, they are very professional about how they handle things...
Question Author
wookette you are right there.... guess i really wanted to know if there was a case for child porn or not. Its not like the pics are graphic but he does you them to sexually please himself
