my neighbour recently took me to court and lost the case he appealed and won the appeal the judge ordered a re trial what are my chances of winning ????

Well as we don't have the slightest clue what the evidence was on each side it's unlikely anyone will be able to give much of an answer. However a guess:

It sounds like the appeal judge thought that some evidence might have been missed or interpreted incorrectly. In this case your chances of winning are slightly less than the first time around, as it wil be looked at more closely in the retrial.
