Have been reviewing additional security and such after being in the house while broken into twice and having someone try to get into my flat a few months ago.

How safe do you feel? Do you live in a good or bad area and have you have any break-ins or such happen to you?

I have had someone get into my house three times now....god help the next person is all I can say....
Am afraid I dont live in a great area although neighbours are the best. Haven't had any break-ins,I think we have the dog to thank. Unfortunately I can't say the same for our cars, they've been targeted a few times over the last 18 years, makes me so angry and frustrated.
I have a barometer by the door that guages the potential threat- oh sorry no, i meant baseball bat.
had no break in .thank god . i live in a really good area
Hi Jenna, my area isnt too bad but could be better. i live on a quiet cul-de- sac that consists of only 23 houses and no-one has had any break ins since ive lived here and thats 14 years now so its not bad. I spend a fair amount of time on my own and never feel scared. :-)
I aint got much to nick.

But funny enuff I had a dream someone broke in whilst I was asleep and then left in a hurry ......it was probably the 6 ft Ape I have guarding the place that scared em off

I am very lucky, live in a very quiet rural area, but I am also 6ft tall and weigh about 16 stone, so no skinny git is gonna break in, and the only neighbour I have is about the same size as me, so together they would get a bit of a fright if they did.
Welll I just say "Right turn Clyde" and my guard-monkey knocks em out and puts them out with the trash
u need to buy a bat and keep it near your window, put it by ur lamp so the shadow can be seen from outsde by the burgelor and i'm sure he'll change his mind after that frigtining image

or stick a big poster on yer window sayin" already been burgeled, no more goodies left, save urself the trouble"
