You feel in love/interested in a something (a person, music, show/film, activity, sport, etc.) despite the fact that this thing makes you feel really uncomfortable and guilty (despite the fact that this thing your into isn’t illegal or hurting anyone).

Like, it’s not even a situation where it’s that you care what folks think or say about you, but that you end up cringing every time you see yourself loving this thing OR realize that your so into it you end up asking yourself “why?” (Where you cant think of any answers?)

Whether that reason being is that you want to stay safe from
any verbal/physical harm that will (and has) come your way, or because you don’t feel like you should be associated with this thing.

I’m guessing the term is guilty pleasure, but I feel like like there is some other word that goes with this as well. Can you folks figure out what that word is?

Having sex with a tree? Please be more specific.
I have a crush on my wheelie bin, I know it's wrong but not illegal. But afterwards I feel uncomfortable and guilty.
Any parallels there?
Theland - sex with a tree? Blimey what are you on tonight?
Yeah my wheelie bin has a certain something too but it stinks which is a right turn off.
