A few quid should do it over there. If you run out you can always chore everything.
The exchange rate is just over 2 Canadian dollars to the . Their prices are roughly the same in dollars as ours are in s, so if something costs 9.99 over here it would be $9.99 over there. Eating out is really cheap too, even McDonalds! We lived over there for three years and it's a great country. Hope you have a lovely time and wish I was coming too!
Why in hell would you go to Canada to eat at McDonalds! Infact why the hell would you want to eat at McDonalds anywhere?
On a recent trip our meal costs were between $20 and $100 (for 2) depending on how good a restaurant it was. By and large price did reflect quality.

As it's your honeymoon you will want to veer towards the upper end ($50-80) at least some of the time.

Add maybe $20 for a sandwich lunch and the same for breakfast if not included.

Remember that the menu prices will have tax added when you get the bill and that local custom demands a tip of around 15% of the pre-tax bill.
