Question Author

Metbod would be useful

just write them as equations like J+A=28

Then rearrange and substitute

1.   J+A=28

2.  D+F =50

3.  D+2J

4. F=1.5A

substitute for D & F in 3  2J+1.5A = 50, so 4J + 3A = 100

J + A =28, so 4J + 4A = 112

from above 2 simultaneous equations a = 12 etc
