I'm up early to get  the kitchen sorted out. We're having new appliances fitted this afternoon and I have to empty the fridge and freezer.

No, not a new kitchen. We had it renewed about ten years ago and it's fine. We are renewing the fridge freezer, the main oven and the combi oven.

It's hard going and I wished I had done it earlier in my career but hey ho!

Yes, Helen, it is hard going. I did a diploma when I was in my fifties and still working full time. When I handed in the final assignment, I swore that I would never do another one and I never have.

My kitchen is retro and I'll never change it.   I spent ages looking for 50s curtains!   But new ovens are good

lottie, I'd love a new oven, for now, i'm gonna settle for a new sink unit - the one I have is gone a bit shabby :(

Morning all. I'd love a new oven...but it would only be for looks. I only cook for me and stovetop/airfryer/ slow cooker/halogen are fine...and cheaper to run. Fridge and washing machine are just a few years old. It's everything else that needs replacing!
