...though the party still prefer Boris. She'd better win in 2024 or Boris will be back.

As i said on an earlier thread, as regards the best way to solve the COL crisis and inflation, Truss and Sunak can't both be right. Just hope you lot have chosen the one who is. Fingers crossed.
"Liz wins hands down" after the next G/E She will walk out of Downing St with her.... "Hands UP"...and the rest of her crooked Mps behind her..

wanna bet gulliver? Nope thought not, hot air as usual.
//Truss and Sunak can't both be right.//

There's an exceedingly good chance that neither of them are right, Ken.
It's about to come to this, a vacuous cheesemonger with a history of infidelity and flip-floppery is to occupy the highest office in the land.

I give it six months and only then if she's fully supported by Tory MPs, the party at large, social services, her GP and her regular supplier of recreational gear.

Stand back and have a really good look, even though it's too late.
NJ, in the thread i mentioned above, i said something along the lines of, "They can both be wrong, but they can't both be right." So, yes, i agree with you.
Lol at Douglas, funny but sadly the truth.

ken: //Truss and Sunak can't both be right.// - doesn't matter they'll say anything to get into no 10. This is a party squabble for the top job. Read nothing into what either of them say totally irrelevant as are all these TV debates etc. After it's resolved the winner will give the loser a decent job and we'll get back to the vitally important work of kicking the sheet out of Labour.
And there's naive old me thinking the 'vitally important work' was running the country to the benefit of all:-/
Every day is a school day on AB.
09 55 Thought my reply would bring out of the cupboard TTT.
That’s right, because it’s not about getting the country back in its feet, sorting the energy and cost of living crisis, illegal immigration nor rising crime levels, it’s all about being the bigger majority in the House of Shouties.
Tells you the mindset of the party voter who elected a 5C flip-flop merchant to be the next PM.

We’re doomed!

// Looks Like Liz Wins Hands Down //

I have seen saying this is a no contest for weeks, that the Tory membership will not vote for Rishi Sunak for obvious reasons. I have said Sunak will be humiliated, not stand in 2024 and move to California.

Sunak got the most votes by Conservative MPs to be their leader. But the grassroots real Tories ain’t having that. All very shabby and revealing.
yes, Tory voters don't trust the MPs they vote for. A lessonfor us all.
Question Author
well gromit, you may be right about Sunak but let us not forget your past predictions? Remember "lock down in 6 weeks, July 2021"?

gromit: "Sunak got the most votes by Conservative MPs to be their leader. But the grassroots real Tories ain’t having that. All very shabby and revealing. " - yes it's known as democracy gromit, it's a bu66rer when it gives the "wrong" result.
TTT,
Are you spamming AB today?
You have posted many questions, most of them already asked by other ABers on previous threads.
This is not to distract yourself away from your embarrassingly wrong speculation you posted yesterday?
Question Author
I haven't noticed any duplication.
Careful Gromit, you’ll get the ToraToraTora’s fatwa that I got yesterday for pointing out his glaring errors! Lol
// I haven't noticed any duplication. //

Khandro posted about Labour party falling membership yesterday.
FatticusInch posted about RAF diversity targets.

Perhaps a mod could delete TTTs pointless same questions.
