If something is bi-weekly, does it happen twice a week or once a fortnight?
Same with bi- monthly, bi-annually etc

We need new words
Or do away with one of the definitions.
For years bi-annual can mean twice a year and once every two years, but generally means the former with biennial being the term for the latter
in the case of bi-annually that means twice a year biennially means every two years. There does not appear to be an equivalent for weeks and months.
well for every 2 weeks you could say fortnightly!
you should define it without using the ambiguous words

( bit like next week - this week which as far as I can see can mean anything )

bisect should mean halve
and dissect ) or " die-sect" should mean cut into leedol pieces

prob is di- is thought to come from duo, dis , deux zwei and twee or or cut in two

like diurnal - twice a day ( joke joke - it doesnt!)
have we got to
biannual - twice a year
biennial every two years?
yet?
