I recently bought an item on-line. I see this same item has dropped in price by £10,within a week.Would I possible be entitled to ask for a refund of £10.
No, the seller is free to set their own prices... Or to put it another way, if the seller put the price up £10 would they be entitled to ask you for another tenner?
Is this in a shop on-line, or somewhere like eBay? I often drop an eBay price if I have items not selling - I wouldn't expect someone who's already bought a similar item to ask for a refund.
I don't think you have any chance though - just because I buy a skirt in M&S and it goes in the sale the next week, doesn't mean I can ask them for a refund.
I bought something from Amazon, a week or so later they emailed me and said the price had dropped and gave me £10 credit for future purchases. I thought this brilliant.
Years ago Mrs MM bought a pair of shoes for £10 and she loved them. A week later they were in the sale for £4 so she went and bought another 2 pairs. She is still wearing the third pair and often gets asked where she bought them.
