are actually working and getting paid, but taking the pi55 by spending most of the day on here. I am retired, so I can.
If you were an employer would you pay a person to spend time on here.

I can do what I want, I'm a free spirit My boss doesn't care what I do as long as his tea is ready.
all joking aside, ive never in all my working life got paid to post on an internet site, often the excuse given is that people are bored, well get a better job where your talents will be appreciated, if i was an employer id ensure the workforce were doing their job and ban any use of the internet unless job related, or are some of the managers too busy answering questions to bother, ?
as long as my owrk is done - which it always is - i dont think my boss cares!!
Havent you asked this question before???

sorry nannon, yes I have, but haven;t got the luxury of being in a job I am bored at ,so I forgot..
Well, I am in the unfortunate position of having to work, and having to pay for the pleasure, being a Uni student, so I think I am allowed to reward myself occasionally with idle chit-chat ;)

x
I too am one of the bosses, and too be honest this site is my reprieve when I get stressed and the idiots at work are annoying me...Its quite relaxing reading everyone elses woes and putting your oar in :)

Obviously try not to waste too much time on here...setting an example etc!

Times have changed I suppose.
Would you want to work again Doc Spock? I always hear people moaning about having to work but then when people retire you hear them say they are at a loss what to do sometimes!!! i think - as much as i hate working - i would kinda miss it if i didnt go!!!
If any of my team were lurking on here (??) then I wouldnt mind too much as long as their work is up to date, although I would rather if they were in that position that they focussed on pro-activity and the betterment of themselves and the business, rather than be wasteful of their talents on here. Me? My granny died when she was 95 and there was still work to be done. Hard work never killed anyone, but why take the chance?

I may be a coxcomb, but Id rather my staff were not jackanapes.
fine, thanks

from the time of your answer you placed on ab, if you are working then your being double standard , i work from 7.30am till about 6.pm some of that work is with out pay, i also work with baby jane at the same organisations, she also works the same hours as me, i go on ab as a perk,
if i was working id not be wasting my employers time or electricity posting on a site. my conscience would not allow me to do that.
Id rather waste work time than my own personal time, sod conscience.
fine, thanks

were you the teachers pet at school, people come on to this site to ask questions and also to make friends, you ask questions, but you do not make friends with the answers you give, lighten up.
quite happy working away and coming on here, really don't give a sh!t to be honest
if at work.......work if at play..........play. simple
