working with animals is a very rewarding job but is hard work. it is never a 9-5 job. u will be doing shift work and weekend work. i have worked with animals from the last 15 years from doing kennels and veterinary work to greyhounds and horse work so know the jobs can be hard and tiring. with these sorts of jobs the pay wont be great as you normally get into these jobs because of the love of animals. the pay is normally the national minimum wage. you dont normallyneed qualifications for kennel work just a love and understanding of animals. with veterinary work you do need to have 5 GCSEs including maths and english. good luck in whatever work you do with animals.
You can find out details of qualifications/wages/job opportunities etc etc on the 'jobs4u' website which is part of the 'connexions' website used by school leavers. I work in a jobcentre and I find this invaluable for all ages, not just school leavers. Good luck
