Why should I work when if I don't I get all my rent paid council tax paid and £120 every two weeks ,

But if I work for min wage full time I would only end up with £30 a week for my self which ain't anoth to live on

I'm also starting college in September and if I don't work I will have it all paid for me but if I'm working there would be no chance off me going to college and trying to make a better life for me ,

BEFORE YOU ALL START GOING MAD I'M JUST SAYING THIS TO SHOW THAT FOR SOME A LIFE ON BENITFITS IS THE ONLY CHOICE

(sorry about spelling :))

we're trying to save you from a life of poverty on the dole. Heed the good advice you're getting here
I know I've been there as a single parent and it was really hard. I started p/time during school terms. It was a nightmare at xmas when I would try to do a little bit of o/time to buy presents for my little girl. It was futile trying to help myself, because they just took 40p of every £1 I earned (might be different now). I persevered because work was a form of social life for me (I couldn't afford to go out). This went on fo about 18 months, living hand to mouth, while many piers stayed at home on benefits. The good news is, I grew in confidence and when my girl went up to senior school I gradually increased my hours and got off benefits and gave them the V sign. Then met and married my husband. I then went on to get a much better job.. Good luck with what ever you choose to do.
id say this will last 2 minutes.
I'm sure she could hold a job down for more than 2 minutes
daffy why is the poster an 'it'? what have I missed?
I'm not 100% convinced this person is genuine or female dot, the style of posting reminds me of a someone who has posted here before.
doesn't detract from the genuine replies though does it?
Don't worry about the spelling, the university will teach katie record-keeping skills as part of her pre-registration nursing course.
I never said it did... what has that got to do with any of my replies?

My first reply was genuine, I even wished her/him luck with studies, then s/he insulted me.
Maybe if you went to college, someone could teach you the correct way of spelling the English language .

Hardly katie, most of us either work or have worked, and find it pretty hard to make ends meet at the moment.
Really sorry, but I am not getting the point of this at all. Could you explain your problem a bit more thoroughly for me?
Not 'lifes', that's not a word - 'lives'.
I don't think there is a question, sherrard - it's just a statement.
Troll: In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response.

I think this pretty much fits the description of Katies post.

Daffy - love 'desired emotional response', bit like Pavlov's dogs.
