My subscription is due next month, and I only have the Essential membership. Do you think it is worthwhile upgrading to the Premium membership, which is an extra £25 per year?

They now have the 1911 census online, although only the books, not the individual forms. Don't know what this means as such, but look at the table on the Account page to see what you get extra for the Premium membership.

Apparently you can access probates, irish records, and parish records from before 1837, but I don't know how complete these will be.
not much there Irish, alot of it is already on the IGI
Actually I have the premium and get Irish records, let me see what it offers hang on, right, I've not really looked at the Irish Record collection on ancestry befire, I was wrong, they do have an awful lot more than I though, what I suggest you do is actually take out the monthly subscription at £12.95 for the premium, have a look at it, and then if you feel it is right, ring them within the month and upgrade to the annual subs, they will deduct the month you have paid, if it isn't worth it, after the first month, change to your essentials, you will have a month's worth of premium membership to use then.

craft there are so many different records that make up the Irish Collection on ancestry I can't type them all up, and they won;t copy and paste either, but if you go to the home page and search the collections the list should come up,
