i picked up some freepost envelopes the other day from a parm shop.

the ones i have got pay 1 for every cartridge received and the money gos to the "touching tiny lives campaign".

you can get them in bulk from here http://www.action.org.uk/giving/recycling.php

it does say that a lot of epsom and canon cartidges cant be recycled but perhaps you could ask them about the type you have.

thanks for info, just looked on the site and they say they cannot recycle epson cartridges due to techincal problems!! Is this because epson want to corner the market? anyone with any answer would help, if epson is doing this for their own gain then shame on them, if that is the reason i will change my printer to a company that supports recycling.
Hi saintpeter,

Some charities recycle cartridges. Below are links to info for Dogs Trust and RSPB.
Hope they are useful.

ive googled and epson dont recycle their cartridges at all. The burn and they receive back apparently.

plenty of charities accept the other types and pay around 1 each, just not epson ones.
I have epson scanner/printer and the local council take my cartridges at the recycling site
