oh and how do i relist the items so immediate payment is required these days?
A 'note' on your listings won't stop a 0% feedbacker bidding but setting your preferences will

Immediate payment required button will show up in the payment section as you list and item to be sold

Where the Paypal bit is on the liksting template

And then the seller ends up with an NPS - 3 of those and your account is suspended

LOL, of course they will
0% feedbacker bids and wins
Seller says 'go away, I said in my listing I won;t sell to you a 0% feedbacker'
Buyer starts dispute either via paypal which they can do the same day they win or via eBay on the 8th day - ebay may listen (unlikely) Payapl will not
Seller ends up with an NPS AND a neg feedback from buyer
Seller tries for mutual withdrawal, buyer refuses so NPS and the big fat neg the seller has remains on their record

Saying it in a listing is not good enough - setting your preferences is. What seller could do is say 'Bidders with 0% feedback please contact me first' but they cannot tell them not to bid within the listing; that's what preferences are for

Remember, everyone has to start with 0% feedback; even you did
The seller's terms can never override the terms and conditions set by eBay,

None paying bidders can be dealt with by the proper channels through eBay, so the seller does not get an NPS strike. For an NPS complaint the bidder must prove he has paid.

It is a real shame to block zero feedback bidders - some bidders register just to buy one particular item and at this time of year many established eBayers register a new id so their family and friends can't see what they've been buying for Christmas presents.

I love my newbies. I have had a few problems with newbies, but I've had a few problems with powersellers who have bought from me,

A non-paying bidder is an inconvenience, not a disaster.
