If it matters that the image would come out backwards,,what you do is get a photocopy of your image and ask the person at the copy shop to reverse it or scan it into your computer and reverse it in whatever image package you are using. There is a cold method of getting the image onto your garment, also special transfer paper that you print out in your home. I think that qvc sell both kinds

Go to PC world or similar and buy a t-shirt printing set which has the transfers and software that take your image and let you put it onto a t-shirt using the pc and you then iron it on for a custom made shirt.

Used it and not too bad a result.

You need inkjet media for t shirt printing. There are two types. One for printing on White/light t shirts and another for printing on black/dark t shirts.

Print out your image and text (in reverse), cut out the image and iron on. It's quite simple really!

is the quality quite good on them or is it really shiney?

Hi lepers - I found the result was 'dull' rather than shiney. OK for a slogan but doubt its good enough for full colour pic.

If you want specific prints as some sort of a souvenir of an event get a local t-shirt shop to do them - lots around all over the country.

You can buy (cheap, very nasty) kits from Tesco - the results look great but won't survive being washed, and you van buy far better quality (and almost as good) kits from various ebay sellers.

Just remember to print the item backwards so it looks right when put on the clothing.

You don't need special software for this, as you are effectively just printing on special paper.
