What are the best materials to use in designing my own tshirts? I love Diesel t shirts but want to create my own without using the rubbish pens that leave a fat, childlike design. What is there i can use to give a good "paint" style finish please?

perhaps you could do something like design the 'design' on the computer, print out on this paper

and then just iron it on to a tshirt?
to get a paint style finish you could always use... paint! acrylic paint looks great on tshirts and doesn't wash off, and of course comes in loads of colours.

otherwise you could try Image Maker, it's like a paste, you can buy it in Woolies or craft shops etc. You photocopy or laser print an image, then spread the Image Maker paste on, leave to dry, then viola! a cool home made tshirt effect. it's made by dylon, so can be trusted. take a look here : http://www.dylon.co.uk/colourcentre/imagemaker /imagemaker.htm

good luck! :)
